ASD® in the Community: Habitat for Humanity 2018

[1 Minute Read]

ASD® employees teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to give back to their community. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization that strives to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. They dream of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

On Saturday June 18, 2018 ASD helped make that dream come true for one lucky family. Eleven ASD® employees headed to a project site in Hickory, North Carolina where they spent the day sealing, installing siding, and cleaning up a house. This particular house was being built for a single mother with two boys who have never lived in a house.

Ashley Hill, an ASD National Deployment Specialist, said, "As one of ASD's core values, giving back to the community is a very rewarding experience. This was my first time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and it was beyond amazing. The crew was great and made it an even better experience. I look forward to future opportunities to volunteer with that organization."

ASD® was grateful for the opportunity to turn this house into a home.
