Ron Gordon, Senior Vice President of Technology at MicroD shares his experience working with ASD. We layed out their server room and cabling for their new offices. There were 6 offices, 12 workstations, he enjoyed the information ASD gave him on his first project and the help of his NSC’s project manager’s cell phone number which helped him leverage ASD as a “true partner” in case anything came up.
We had a great time this year at the IFMA Expo down the street from our Headquarters at the Georgia World Congress Center. We met with facility managers from all over the globe – Scotland, England, Nigeria, all of the United States and lots of Canadians! Check out the video above for a preview of the introduction to IFMA and the highschool marching band that played right by our booth. It was a great performance and a fun way to kick off the tradeshow!
Many facility managers reached out to ASD to provide product, design, project management and solutions for many of their IP convergence needs. Many of our National Services Consultants were staffing the booth to answer many questions about data center construction and design, our new iGLO-MOTO Passive Optical LAN Solutions, VoIP Telephony Systems and more. We also gave out some great goodies which included: ASD WD-40 Pens, ASD Reversible Screwdrivers, ASD Pens and ASD Golf Gear. Thanks to Madolyn and Marc at QPS Promotions for getting some great quality items for us to

See how iCAT-ITS C600 cable is manufacturered. The first step is to coat the bare copper wire. The next step is to twist two wires into one pair. Four pairs of wires are bundled together, along with the dielectric separation. The cable jacket is sprayed onto the conductors. As it passes through the water trough, it is cooled. The cable is then packaged in the iCAT-ITS C600 box. If you’re interested in buying iCAT-ITS cable, call 1-800-CABLING.
